Most Easiest Chapters in the Holy Quran to Memorize Quran Quickly

Allah has made the Quran simple to read, understand, and memorize for those who sincerely desire to embrace the divine words. He repeated four times in the Quran in chapter Al Qamar. And We have indeed made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? (54:17)

The above verse is right all the time, even if our first language is not Arabic. Allah Himself has assured us, You need to try, He will make it easy.

The truth that millions of Muslims all over the world, from numbers of nationalities and languages, know at least some part of the Quran by heart is nothing but a manifestation of the verse mentioned above.

The same cannot be stated for any other book in world history. If you were ever made to memorize your school work by heart, you know what I am talking about.

So, it doesn’t matter whether you don’t know a word of the Quran, or whether you know some chapters by heart; no matter what your level, you will see easy Quran memorization, all you need to do is sincerely try for the sake of Allah.

Now when it comes to selecting chapters to memorize, the general practice is that the easiest ones are from the last chapters backward.

Juz Amma (the last 1/30th of the Quran) contains Makki chapters, which have little verses that often rhyme, and are overall shorter than the Madini chapters.

The last ten chapters (105 to 114), Surat al-Asr (103), and Surat al Qadr (97) is unusually short and simple to memorize. Nonetheless, you don’t need to follow any sequence in learning chapters, neither do you need to memorize whole chapters, although it is better to go about it systematically.

You can select up ayah from anywhere in the Quran, memorize them, and read them in your prayers, as long as their total length is equivalent to three short verses.

To find the most benefit from the chapters that you memorize and recite during prayers, you should have at least some information about what you are reciting.

When it gets to be aware of the meaning of the words you are reciting in prayer, I individually have found the mere reading of translations very inadequate.

Listen to some lectures on tafsir (explanation) of the chapter that you are learning, or read the chapter from Tafsir ibn Kathir, read Quran online, which is free online in English translation.

This way, you will know in-depth the meaning of the verses, the contexts of their revelation, and the stories behind them. The more knowledge you connect with the verses, the more comfortable you will find to memorize them and absorb their meanings.

Memorize at least some of the vocabulary of the verses. You will get a free online Quran word by word translation here. Just note down some of the terms and memorize their meanings. This way, you will be informed of what you are saying when you say those words during recitation.

The Basics How to Read and Memorize Quran for Beginners

Many people asked and searched how to read the Quran for beginners. Here in this article, we pointed out some points for Beginners. The first point for a beginner to understand the Quran is its form.  The Arabic word, ‘Quran,’ literally means both ‘recitation’ and ‘reading.’ Thus, the Quran was both recited orally and written down in book form.

The real power of the Quran continues in the oral recitation, as it is meant to be read aloud and melodiously, but still, the verses were written down on available substances as an aid to memorizing and guarding it, and these were collected and managed in book form both privately and, at a later stage, institutionally. The Quran was not meant to tell a chronological story, and thus, the Quran should not be seen as a sequential a narrative like the book of Genesis.

The Quran usually repeats certain verses and themes, changing topics between them, and often describes narratives in summarized form.  We can see two reasons for this.  First, it serves a grammatical purpose and is one of the powerful rhetorical techniques of classical Arabic.

Second, all themes of the Quran, no matter how varied, are wrapped around one common thread going through the entire book: there is no true god but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger.

The Quran, unlike the Bible, is not treated with genealogies, historical events, or minute historical details, many of which don’t suit an oral discourse.  The purpose is to use facts, from past and present, to show this central message.  So when the Quran is discussing the healing properties of honey or the life of Jesus, not the topic is an end in itself, but each is described in one way or another to the central message – the Oneness of God and unity of the prophetic message.

Quran tutoring is a program that one can learn the Quran from a tutor who is far away from the student. Another vital point to keep in mind is that the Quran was not revealed in one sitting, but rather it was revealed in parts over 23 years.  Many paragraphs were in reply to specific events.

Often, Quranic revelation would come from the angel Gabriel to Prophet Muhammad as a response to questions raised by unbelievers.  The Quran addresses these unbelievers, the People of the Scripture (a term used by the Quran for Jews and Christians), humanity at large, believers, and, finally, the Prophet himself - commanding him what to do in a particular situation or solacing him in the face of ridicule and rejection.  Understanding the historical and social context of revelation clarifies the meanings contained in the text itself.

The Quran is composed of 114 parts or chapters of unequal length.  Each chapter is called a surah,  surahs to memorize in Arabic, and each sentence or phrase of the Quran is called an ayah, literally ‘a symbol.’ Like the Bible, the Quran is divided into discrete units, referred to as ‘verses’ in English.

These verses are not standard in length and where each starts and ends was not decided by human beings, but dictated by God.  Each one is a discrete act of locution of closed signification, or ‘sign,’ denoted by the word ayah in Arabic.

All surahs, except one, begin with Bismillah hir-Rahman Nir-Rahim, ‘I begin with the Name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the Compassionate.’ Each surah has a name that generally relates to a central theme within it.  For example, the longest surah, Surah al-Baqarah, or “The Cow,” is named after the story of Moses commanding the Jews to offer a sacrifice of a cow, which begins by God saying.

Memorizing the Holy Quran will Heal all the Obstacles

Since the Quran is the word of Allah Almighty, when you memorize it, this will be the biggest you ever did.  Memorizing the Quran will open all the doors of good for you.

Memorizing the Quran indicates that you will get ten good deeds for each letter! If you know, for example, that the number of letters in the smallest Surah in the Quran, which is Surah Al-Kawthar, is 42 letters.

This Surah can be read in seconds, which means that whenever you read it, your account at Allah Almighty will increase to 420 good deeds, each one of these good deeds is much better than this World and what is in it!! Think of how many good deeds you will get when you read the Quran, which involves more than three hundred thousand letters!!

The Quran includes all the sciences of this World and the Hereafter, the stories of parents and successors. It includes many of the scientific, universal, legislative, and medical facts, and it also contains provisions, laws, and legislation that regulate the life of a believer and give him much happier. This means that when you memorize the Quran, you learn the largest encyclopedia.

This Quran, which you remember and keep today, will be your guide at the dying moment!! It will be your supporter and your intercessor at the time the nearest people abandon you.

The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) says, "Read the Quran, it will be the intercessor of its companions on the Day of Resurrection"  Will there be a most excellent moment other then the one when meeting on the Day of Resurrection with Allah Almighty and you have memorized His words.

When you memorize the Koran, your expressing experience will be stronger because of the classic Arabic you get from the Quran. You will have more ability for dealing, endurance, and patience because memorizing the Quran is not only like memorizing a poem, a story, or a song.

However, when you memorize the Quran, you are improving your attitude towards everything around you, and thus your performance will be following what you have memorized
Our Lady Aysha (May Allah be pleased with her) was asked on the ethics of the Prophet, and she said, "His ethics was the Quran"!!  If you would like your ethics to be like the Prophet's (PBUH), you have to memorize the Quran.

How long does it need to memorize the Quran Months or Years

That one most generally asked question we use to ask any Hāfiẓ we come across is how long does it take to memorize the Quran. Also, “how old were you when you learned the Qur’an?”

These are valid questions, which explains the interest of the one asking in memorizing the Quran. Therefore, an accurate answer is expected. But the truth is, no honest answer to these questions will make a Hāfiẓ out of anyone else. It may discourage him further.

This is to state, if it took the person we pose this type of question to 24 months to memorizing the Quran, we would find it too compact (for us) to do it in such a ‘short period.’ If he did it in 24 years, we’ll find it too long and, perhaps, discouraging for one of us to become one.

Moreover, if he understands you, he did it at the age of 15 or younger, you will possibly give up on the dream of becoming one, as you are probably hitting 30 years right now.

The harsh truth, which we are mostly unwilling to hear, is that there’s no shortcut way to victory. Memorizing the Qur’an is a success, and it’s not an exception to the rule.

You are right in your goals. Get your plan straight. Get your sincerity purified. You know your weakness and go according to it. Don’t exact to become another Mishari Rashid just with the Juz’ ‘Amma you’ve memorized.

You are ready to continue, also, if no one recognizes your effort. In the first point, you’re not doing it for anyone (other than Allah). You're willing to neglect the myth of timeframe. Yes, you must think, but plans serve as a guide. It may take you 24 months to Quran memorization. It may also make you 24 years to do so. As long as you are still alive, and as long as you’re preparing it, don’t give up. With clear objectives, you won’t mind the time of the journey.

You’re willing to learn a new habit called ‘discipline.’ Discipline comes hand-in-hand with persistence and determination. It also helps you to learn from others.

You are willing (once discipline is established) to reform, and repeat, and repeat. You want to learn. The standard way of memorizing the Qur’an (as well as anything else) is to happen, and repeat, and repeat. No good Hafiz had taken away shorter than repeat, and repeat, and repeat.

You understand that memorizing the Qur’an is only one of the various skills (sciences) of the Qur’an. Don’t confuse memorizing the Qur’an with learning the Arabic language. Don’t confuse it with learning tafsir.

Memorizing the Qur’an is a requirement for acquiring solid Islamic religious education. But when you remember the Quran, you don’t grow a scholar (faqīh) until you’ve learned and mastered fiqh.
