Some Simple Steps to Memorize the Holy Quran

The first thing to memorize Quran you have to give attention to is your intention (if you intend good, you will get right). Make sure that the purpose you are making is only for the sake of Allah Subḥānahu Wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He),  to seek His Pleasure so that inshAllah, with His Mercy, we will be rewarded in the Aakhirah. It is not to show off in the presence of others that you have memorized a lot. Sincerity is not a one-time factor; instead, it’s a continual battle that you always have to renew.

The more regularly you memorize, the easier it becomes. It is essential to be consistent and not to skip even one day. There is no weekend in prayer. The simple minimum that one should memorize is at least three lines; five is more ideal. If you are consistent, inshAllah, you will be able to be huffadh in 5-6 years.

The first thing you should do in the day is memorized – surahs to memorize even do so before your breakfast because this is your religious breakfast. The best time to learn is right after Fajr.

Have a secluded place to go to and learn in a quiet area. You can’t remember appropriately with distractions, so turn off all your devices (like cell phones) and Computers.

Begin at the same time, at the same place, and use the same mushaf every day. You need to have your copy of the Mushaf (the Madani Mushaf is highly recommended), it will next become so valuable to you.

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat, over and over. It is just repeated recitation and listening that will help to memorize. It is the best way to memorize Quran. Read the translation before you begin and try to equal the Arabic words with their meanings.

Listen to the Quran Before you start to memorize, listen to what you are about to learn. Sh. Husary is highly recommended. Get a friend, a family member or someone you know who will monitor your recitation every day. Ideally, get someone who is also learning to create a peer pressure system.

What you have memorized. If you skip one portion, you will quickly rush towards the Qur’an and improve your mistake, and you will never make this mistake again.

Be logical. Don’t try to go to different surah if you find it difficult and stick to the order. That way, you will have the pleasure of having completed a juz rather than leaving some portions here and there.

How to Memorize the Ayahs from the Holy Quran

The Qur’an is Islam's religious book, and it is split into 114 chapters, which are called surahs. Each surah is made up of different verses, named ayahs.

During prayer, entire surahs are read from memory to grow closer to Allah. Inline to memorize surah as a whole, you'll want to start by learning the individual ayahs. Begin by getting a copy of the Qur’an.

If you work on memorizing for fewer than 20 minutes, you're apparently not going to learn the passage later on. If you remember for more than 30 minutes, you can lose track of all the information—20 minutes is the perfect length for a memorization session.

You can memorize Quran single ayah in one 20-minute session. Practice a new ayah each day to build-up to a full surah.

If you live with others, consider enlisting a friend or family member to memorize passages with you. This way, the two of you can keep several other answerable when you're starting.

Choose an ayah at the commencement of a surah you like. Select a surah that you recognize with and feel a secure emotional connection to. There is nothing incorrect with memorizing a single ayah because you love the meaning of the passage. Standard Muslim practice requires knowledge of an entire surah though, so you probably want to learn the whole thing.

If you're intending on memorizing the Quran surah, start with the ayah at the very beginning of the chapter that you plan on learning.

Analyze the meaning of an ayah by reading it correctly. Before you begin trying to memorize the ayah, read over it carefully in a language, you understand to ensure that you know the meaning of the passage. This will have the bonus of helping you memorize the surah since you'll be able to rely on the sequence of the readings as opposed to merely learning the sounds.

Even if it weren't treating you memorize, you should know the purpose of the words that you're learning. The whole point is to help you conserve and understand the word of God. You can't do that if you don't know what the words mean.

Quran memorization Ayahs are always in the traditional Arabic that they were initially written in. This means that you'll need to get a recording of the Qur’an if you aren’t a natural Arabic speaker. Find an audio recording online or purchase an audio companion to help you with the pronunciation.

Avoid splitting a single ayah into pieces. When citing or reciting it, other Muslims will require you to know the whole ayah as opposed to part of it.

Concentrate on the meaning of the words rather than the sounds alone to make memorizing easier. It's much simpler to remember a story than a guide of noises.

How to Read & Memorize Quran with Tajweed

Learn how to read the Quran, apply the Tajweed rules, use all authentic methods, including Al Nuraniyah methods and other reading techniques.

The key to truly enjoying the Qur'an is first to test your heart before you even reach the Book of Allah. Ask yourself honestly why you are reading. Is it just to get information and let it move away from you later? Remember that his wife described the Prophet Muhammad as a "standing Qur'an": in other words, he not only read and recited the Qur'an but also lived it.

Doing your Wudu is an excellent physical and mental workout to remind you not just to read another book. You are about to interact with God, so being clean should be a priority when communicating with him.

Five minutes of reading the Qur'an in Arabic is good, but you have to understand what you are reading. Make sure you have a good translation from the Qur'an in the language you know best. Always try to read the interpretation of what you read that day.

Ask Allah to help you read the Coran. Your goal is to honestly communicate with Him with love for Allah by reading, understanding, and applying the blessed words. Connecting Dua to Allah is the best tool for help and guidance.

Memorize Quran With Tajweed –

Do not memorize the koran without revision(otherwise), if you remember the Qur'an page by page until you complete the Qur'an and want to go back to what you remembered, you will find that you forgot what you remembered. (You'd forget if you didn't read the first few pages you learned anymore).

Tajweed is an important aspect when reading the Qur'an. Before you start recording, specific requirements must be met. In the field of Tajweed.

The right way is to combine memorization and criticism. Divide the Qur'an into three divisions: all ten parts (juz) are a division. So if you remember one page a day, you have to go through 4 pages a day until you remember 10 Jose. So if you remember ten jos by heart, stop for a full month to check and watch eight pages daily.

When you have memorized the entire Quran, see the first ten judged for a month; Half decided every day. Then you go to the second 10 days for a month, half a day every day and read eight pages of the first ten days. Then remember the last ten judged for a month, half judged every day and eight pages of the first ten judge and eight pages of the next ten judge.

After a year of completing the Quran's update, let your "Manzil" (division) of the Quran be that of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) until your death. The Qur'an is divided into seven parts so that you complete the Qur'an once every seven days.
